This unique chest is made by hand. It is made of knotty pine, stained in distress. Hardware plated with Brass. Approximate exterior dimensions- 32 1/2 "side-by-side, 17" front-to-back and 16 1/2 "wide. Hope chest has a secret, fake bottom pocket. It has an area 2 1/2" deep under the fake ground. Easy to get there. Including instructions. Great storage room for a journal, valuables, essential papers etc. Comes unfinished (no stain), or pick from 4 paint choices (gunstock, jacobean, red mahogany, and walnut). The pictured chest is stained in walnut. No requisite assembly.
